A school without borders.

GEO is a complete international school, delivered through adaptive instruction and extended reality, built to give students an education that opens the door to the world, wherever they are.

Why we exist

Every child deserves a great education, regardless of circumstance.

Too many young people are held back from a great education, not because they lack the will to learn, but because the schools, teachers, and resources they need don't exist where they live, or cost far more than their families can bear. GEO was founded on a simple conviction: a world-class education should not depend on geography or circumstance. With the right architecture, it no longer has to.

Six principles hold GEO together.

Each one removes a barrier that has kept a real, high-quality education out of reach.

01

Adaptive, intelligent instruction

Instruction adapts in real time to each student, moving faster where they are strong and slowing down where they need support. Students learn together in classes and work side by side on projects, with focused individual help exactly when a concept calls for it. The learning always fits the learner.

02

Mastery-based progression

A student moves forward only once they have genuinely understood what they are learning. Every step rests on a solid foundation, so nothing important is skipped. A student who needs more time is given it; a student who is ready races ahead. Real understanding sets the pace.

03

Extended reality

Some ideas are hard to grasp from a page or a flat screen. Extended reality lets a student step inside what they are studying and explore it at any scale, turning the abstract into something they can see and remember. The same technology, by design, protects the integrity of every assessment, so the work a student does is always genuinely their own.

04

Built to scale

Traditional schooling grows only as fast as it can build facilities, train staff, and secure budgets, and the communities that need education most are exactly where those run shortest. GEO is designed to grow without hitting that wall, extending the reach of the people and systems already working in education to serve far more students than they could alone.

05

Recognized credentials

GEO is built on internationally recognized accreditation, the standard universities and ministries of education trust, and is designed so a GEO diploma is accepted by universities across more than 100 countries. Recognition sits at the foundation of the school, established from the start.

06

Your own GEO kit

Every GEO student receives their own kit: sleek black smart glasses, a keyboard, and a mouse, theirs to keep, and theirs to take anywhere. Everything a student needs to learn lives in the kit, with no shared equipment to wait for and no building to reach first.

Our team

The people building GEO.

GEO is led by founders with deep roots in the communities it sets out to serve.

Mohamed El-Barawy

Mohamed El-Barawy

Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer

Mohamed graduated from The American University in Cairo with a degree in Business & Entrepreneurship. His experience as Deputy CEO of his family's petrochemicals distribution business, a company with three decades of operating history, shaped his expertise in managing complex commercial and operational systems in demanding environments. A long-held interest in education and learning led him to extensive self-study in pedagogy and learning theory. Convinced that education is the most powerful tool for change, he co-founded GEO on that vision. As CEO, Mohamed owns the commercial strategy, product direction, and pedagogical foundation of the school.

Basma Nasr

Basma Nasr

Co-founder & Chief Product Officer

Basma studied Digital Media at Coventry University Egypt, where she developed a strong interest in digital environments, interaction, and user experience. Alongside GEO she runs Brayn Solutions, a creative agency where she leads brand, digital, and product work for businesses across sectors. That experience translating complex ideas into clear systems and user-facing experiences directly informs her work at GEO. As Chief Product Officer, Basma leads the product direction of the school: from the extended-reality experience and learning environments to how the platform functions and responds to students.

Ibrahim Maher

Ibrahim Maher

Co-founder & Chief Technical Officer

Ibrahim is studying Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the University of London, where his work centers on the architecture of intelligent systems. Alongside GEO he runs IBX Labs, an independent research and product initiative through which he conducts original AI research and builds applied models, including Maher, a novel learning architecture grounded in predictive coding and the Free Energy Principle. As CTO, Ibrahim owns the technical direction and intelligence layer of the school, architecting how the platform learns, adapts, and responds to each student.
